Down on the Allotment...

The Eco Committee have been out in force to get this year’s planting underway. Under the guidance of Mr Mitchell we have planted lettuce, radish, beans, peas, tomatoes, cucumbers, potatoes and more, as well as tending to our large rhubarb plant!

Look out for us at the Summer Fair, where we will be selling some of our produce. We have also planted some flowering plants that will be on sale too.
We would like all our Woodland’s families to benefit from our hard work, so will be putting our produce out with a donations tin under the canopy of the KS2 playground. You are all welcome to take what is there but we would ask that you put a fair donation in the tin. This will go towards our ongoing work with the Eco Committee and help to make this project self-sustaining.
As our crops will harvest at different times, we have decided to offer the vegetables that are ready as and when they become available so keep an eye out for what is on offer.
We hope you enjoy our homegrown, organic produce. Let us know what you think!
