BBC Children in Need: Onesie Day Like This!

Pigs & penguins, cats & cows, dogs & dinosaurs - Woodlands was awash with children in a vast array of onesies & PJs for BBC Children in Need. The children all had a great day though as the photos below show  onesies & PJs for BBC Children in Need. The children all had a great day though as the photos below show they were prone to fall asleep in the most bizarre situations!  We finished the day with a whole school assembly: 'Farmer Duck', where, as usual, Mr Coyle had a starring role - the lazy farmer who eventually gets his comeuppance from the animals in his farmyard.
     Throughout the week our House Captains have been selling Children in Need wristbands, Pudsey Bear keyrings and organised a cake sale on the day. Two children from the juniors, Melissa & Lois, also arranged a 'Guess the Name of the Bear' competition which proved very popular across the school - especially with the five winners!
 

A big THANK YOU to all those who baked cakes, bought cakes, bought wristbands & keyrings and for everyone who donated £1 to come to school in their onesies or PJs. Also thank you to our wonderful
