Children's University: The Graduation

We only started Children's University this year so it has been incredibly tricky for our current Y2 & Y6 pupils to gain enough credits to graduate. We are thrilled that six Y2 pupils & four Y6 pupils managed to gain enough credits to graduate with a bronze award.

Laura, from CU, led the graduation ceremony in front of the entire school with proud family members watching on. We are sure that our participation in the Children's University will grow from strength to strength as we build on the success of this first year.

The Children’s University is an International critically-acclaimed charity which encourages all children aged 5 to 14 years to try new experiences, develop new interests and acquire new skills through participation in innovative and creative Learning Activities outside of the school day. Learning Activities are designed to:

  • raise aspiration, self-esteem & confidence
  • encourage curiosity and a love of learning
  • enhance motivation and build resilience
  • introduce new life experiences
  • offer progression in learning and personal skills development
