Bike It Breakfast
There was great excitement this morning in the junior hall as crowds of children and adults had a well-earned rest and reward for cycling and scooting to school.
There were croissants, yoghurts, hot crossed buns and fruit for the hungry cyclists and a guest appearance by a special guest!
Mr Mitchell, our hard working caretaker and keen cyclist, took to the rolling road and was cheered on by the pupils. The children watched as Mr Mitchell took to winding country roads, working up a sweat before school had even started!
Many thanks to all that supported us this morning. We really do value your ongoing support, it’s great to see the regulars and exciting to see some new faces too.
Of course I must mention Mr Mitchell, without him the event could not have taken place and it’s great to see him inspiring new cyclists, Mary from Sustrans, who helps organize everything and the children from the Eco –Committee who work really hard to put on these events.
Keep your eyes peeled for another breakfast in the summer term.
