English

The weather still hasn't improved very much and, this week, you are encouraged to be 'Vocabulary Villains' and look at some very interesting (and insulting) words. The example you are given is of a writer insulting a teddy bear through poetry, following which, you are asked to created your own piece of insulting poetry - we wonder how many of you will choose to insult the weather!

The week begins though with the story of Sinbad. It is a story which you may be familiar with but, if not, one we hope you will enjoy. The grammar elements of this week's work include writing with multi-clause sentences and expanded noun phrases.

Remember to keep sending us pictures of your work - we really love seeing what you have been up to. Send you photographs (or videos) to woodlandsyear56@gmail.co.uk
