This week we are re-visiting a book that you studied in Year 3/4, 'The Lost Thing' by Shaun Tan. How well do you remember it? We are going to use this to practise adding parenthesis to sentences - this is a skill that we've already covered this year so we know you'll be able to do this well.
We then move on to a very famous poem written by T.S Elliot in 1939. It tells the story of Macavity: I wonder if that name rings any bells? If you are a fan of musical theatre it certainly should! There are various tasks to do, one of which asks you to look at some of the vocabulary from the poem. Learning new words can be tricky but it is a vital skill and something that we do a lot of in school so we really hope you will complete the task - perhaps you can send us a picture. We really hope you have a good week and enjoy the tasks that have been set. We look forward to hearing from you.
