Nursery Week Beginning 13th May 2024

This week, we are going to read the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar' by Eric Carle.  We will look at the life cycle of a butterfly and we will make our own caterpillars and butterflies in the creative area.

We are also going to look at the ways that different minibeasts move and we will try to copy them and move in different ways.

In maths, we are going to name the days of the week and talk about things that we do on each day.

At home - Can you talk about what happens on different days? What days do you go to Nursery? What days do you stay at home?

We rolled dice and had to take turns to put the correct number of cotton reels on our caterpillars. We counted the cotton reels and compared our caterpillars to see whose was the longest.
