Nursery Week Beginning 18th March 2024

This week we are continuing to read the story 'Baby Goes to Market.' We will discuss keeping healthy and we will talk about a healthy diet.

We will talk about the story setting and compare and contrast what it is like in Formby and what it is like in Nigeria. We will think about the climate and the food that is grown in each place.

At home - Talk about the place where you live and the local environment. Where do you like to visit? What is it like there?

In maths, we are going to continue to look at the number 5. We made 5 using different items, including Numicon pieces.

We practised our subitising skills and spotted groups of 1,2,3 and 4.

At home - Could you teach your family some of the number songs that we have been learning?
