Nursery Week Beginning 5th February 2024

This week we are continuing to read the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. We will look at different structures and build our own bridges for the goats to cross the river. We will think about the height and length of the bridges and also which shape blocks are most suitable to build with. We will also consider if the materials we choose to build with will be strong enough to hold the billy goats as they cross the river.
At home - Could you build a structure? You could build a bridge or a different model. What shapes will you use? How big will your model be?
In Literacy we will retell the story by drawing our own story maps.
We acted out the story using masks.
