Royal British Legion: poppy sale

Dear Parents & Carers

As part of our Remembrance Day commemorations, over the next few days (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday), we are selling poppies to raise funds for the Royal British Legion.

This year, we have been sent ‘proper poppies’ (with the green leaf) secured by a pin. We will be selling these to the children for a minimum donation of 20p.

 We also have a very small stock of other items which will be sold to our different phases within school at morning break times in the infant & junior halls. Nursery staff will oversee the sales to their children.

Suggested donations are as follows:

• Poppy 20p
• Poppy reflector 50p
• Zip pull 50p
• Silicon wristband £1.00
• Snap ruler £1.50

We will not be able to give change as the money goes straight into the collecting tins!

If your child is in the EYFS or the infants (nursery, reception & Y1&2) please send the money in a named envelope.
