Nursery Week Beginning 15th June 2026

This week we will read a story by one of our favourite authors 'Tiddler,' by Julia Donaldson. We will discuss both the characters and the setting of the story. We will talk about the differences between the land and the sea. We will find the land and the sea on a map and we will sort some animals according to whether they live on the land or in the sea.

In maths this week, we are going to be learning about length. We will draw around our shadows, compare their length and find things that are longer and shorter than our shadows.

At home – Can you find objects that are taller and shorter than you? Perhaps you could compare the lengths of some of some different household objects?
