Lead by Sefton Catering, Woodlands offer a good selection of meals each day, two hot choices, one of which is vegetarian and a selection of sandwiches & jackets. A salad bar is available daily to all children with a choice of 8 items and the juniors also have access to the deli bar, where they have a choice of breads, fillings & sauces but they must have at least 2 salad items! They can also choose a takeaway option in the summer months and eat outside. The menu is regularly changed, and the children are involved in choosing what is on the menu. We offer monthly theme days where the menu ties in with school projects or relevant events.
Here at Woodlands, we are passionate about school food! Lead by our award-winning Chef Holly, the whole of the kitchen staff has the same ethos, we pride ourselves on being approachable to the children. We believe in creating meals from around the world that use healthy, sustainable ingredients, but the most important thing to us is serving a variety of foods that the children will enjoy and look forward. We encourage the children to try new things by offering them taster pots and samples alongside their chosen meal hoping to broaden their tastebuds.
