Year 1 and Year 2 have had a wonderful start to the school year and have demonstrated great enthusiasm and commitment in all their lessons.Throughout the first half term, the children have explored a range of engaging topics across the curriculum. In Science, they learned about the human body, including the functions of bones and muscles, as well as how our digestive system works. Geography lessons focused on developing the children’s spatial awareness, where they studied our local environment, created maps using keys, and learned about compass points. In Art, the children thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with colour and shape. They explored primary colours and discovered how to mix them to create secondary colours, producing some vibrant and creative pieces of work.

We are very proud of the effort and curiosity shown by all the pupils and look forward to seeing their continued growth and learning throughout the year.
