Nursery Week Beginning 15th September 2025

Welcome back! All the children have settled in so well to Nursery and have been exploring our setting and making lots of new friends.

This week, we will be thinking about ourselves and some of the things that we enjoy doing both at home and in Nursery. We will be playing lots of 'getting to know you' circle games. We will soon learn the names of all of our friends in our class.

We are reading one of our favourite stories 'Hairy Maclary' by Lynley Dodd. We will talk about the story, retell it to our friends and sequence the events in it.

In maths, we will begin to learn and join in with some counting rhymes and songs. At tidy up times we will also be learning to sort items into the correct boxes.
