Nursery Week Beginning 16th June 2025

This week, we will be reading 'Milton's Suitcase Adventure' by Diane Distefano. We will discuss where Milton went and what he saw. We will relate this to our own holidays and trips, talking about things that we may do or see on holiday.

We will also be investigating floating and sinking. We will predict which items we think will float and which items we think will sink. Then we will sort them into sets according to whether they float or sink.

At home – Can you find some items that float and some that will sink?

In maths, we will talk about time. We will order events in the day using the language 'first', 'next', 'then' and 'last'.

Our rhyme of the week is 1,2,3,4,5 Once I Caught a Fish Alive.
