Nursery Week Beginning 28th April 2025

Date: 25th Apr 2025 @ 12:22pm

Continuing our farm topic, this week we will be matching different farm animals to their young and using the correct terminology to name them.

In maths, we are continuing to name and describe common 2D shapes. We will sort them in a variety of ways looking at their properties.

At home - Can you spot any 2D shapes around you?

During our outdoor learning session, we went on a shape hunt. We found the shapes and sorted them onto the matching piece of paper.

We made butter this week in Nursery. We poured cream into a pot and shook it very hard for a long time. After pouring off the buttermilk, we spread it on toast as a tasty snack.

Our rhyme this week is I Went to Visit a Farm One Day.
