Nursery Week Beginning 2nd June 2025

This week we are starting our new theme ‘Come Fly with Me.’ We will introduce the book 'At the Beach' by Roland Harvey and talking about things that we may do or see at the seaside. We will be learning about summer and looking forward to holidays and days out.

At home – Talk about things you may need in the summer. What might you wear on a hot day? What would you pack in your suitcase if you were going on holiday?

In maths we are going to be learning about length. We will draw around our shadows, compare their length and find things that are longer and shorter than our shadows.

Our rhyme of the week is A Sailor Went to Sea Sea Sea.

We harvested the potatoes that we planted earlier in the year. Our strawberries are starting to grow too.
