Nursery Week Beginning 6th July 2026

This week we are continuing our learning about sea creatures centred around the book 'Commotion in the Ocean' by Giles Andreae and David Wojtowycz. We will use the book and watch some videos to find out about some different sea creatures. We will ask questions such as how do they move and where do they live?

After watching a video and learning some facts about a puffer fish, we used anticlockwise movements to paint our own. We think they are fabulous!

In maths we will sing counting songs and practise our subitising skills. We will match numerals to quantities and count out objects from a larger quantity.
