Autumn Term 1

This half term our topic is 'Super Me'

We will be learning all about ourselves, our bodies and what makes us special. We will be concentrating on feelings and emotions and ensouraging the children to be kind, sensitive and thoughtful. Our indoor and outdoor activities will focus on group and team work so that the children make new friends and develop relationships with their peers and adults.

We will be reading ,many wonderful books linked to our topic to promote a love of listening to and reading stories. These will include Super Kid, Super Me, What Makes Me A Me and Elmer. 

We will investigate colours and colour mixing, gorwth and how our bodies work. 

The children will bring home a folder of work at the end of each half term so that you can share and celebrate their achievements and also keep you informed about what they are learning in school.
