Congratulations! Woodlands' success at the Formby School's Gala
"It is what they were born to, to swim & to swim & to swim."
We would like to say a huge well done to our Y5&6 swimming team. The competed in the Formby Schools' Swimming Gala at Crosby Baths & came away with an incredible haul of medals. The team performed brilliantly in the heats & reached every final. They won the Overall Winners Shield & the Girls Shield - a wonderful achievement.
We are very proud of the children for their achievement, but are even more proud with their approach to whole event. They supported each other throughout the gala & were gracious in both defeat & victory.
Thank you to Miss Pickford & Mrs Hughes for leading the team so ably.
