WE ARE FISH!

 

Wow! What a performance from Woodlands’ swimming team in the Formby Schools Gala at Crosby swimming pool: 10 races - 7 first places & 3 second places.

 

We are very proud of the team: the children swam their hearts out & showed great competitiveness & great sportsmanship: they encouraged each other to try their very best at all times but were supportive of one another too; they congratulated their opponents & shook hands with the other competitors at the end of each race.

 

Thank you to Miss Pickford & Mrs Hughes who oversaw this haul of gold & silver medals – no pressure for 2018…
