Newsletter 6 [Friday 9th October]

Dear Parents/Carers

On Tuesday 13 October, we are looking forward to welcoming our nursery children, parents & staff (from both Woodlands & School’s Out) back to school – it’ll be wonderful to see them all again.

Our autumn parents evenings begin next week (the first parents evening for our nursery class will be in the spring term). The Google Forms approach to booking appointments seems to have worked well with only a few wee ‘technical glitches’ – Woodlands’ IT elves have sensibly kept me away from the whole process. Any parents/carers who missed the deadline can phone the school office [01704 876444] to see if any there are any time slots still available that would suit them. Our teachers will catch up with any parents they haven’t spoken to after October half term. Remember, the phone call you receive from your child’s teacher should be coming from a withheld number – please don’t presume someone’s trying to sell you double-glazing, a timeshare in Torremolinos or tell you that you’ve just won half a million pounds & you simply need to send them your full bank details in order for them to transfer the cash…
